چکیده
Canine distemper virus (CDV) infections cause high morbidity and mortality in dogs. Changes the molecular biological characteristics of Korean CDV strain over multiple cell passages have not been reported. We investigated genetic CD1901-100 for use as an inactivated vaccine strain. Vero cells expressing dog nectin-4 gene (Vero/dNectin-4 cells) were used to adapt CD1901, which was passaged 100 times four types cells. assessed cytopathic effects immunofluorescence assays identify features CD1901 CD1901-100. Seven explore tropisms two strains. The analyses based on whole-genome sequencing data. signaling lymphocyte activation molecule infected with strains showed different fluorescence properties. attained highest viral titer 106.5 TCID50/mL at 4 days post-inoculation; overall 107.0 that after growth Vero/dNectin-4 exhibited 25 nucleotide mutations 15 amino acid substitutions six structural proteins compared sequences. Of proteins, F protein had number replacements (5/663, 0.75%). constructed a line propagated well This will aid development vaccine.

Genetic characterization of canine distemper virus in Serengeti carnivores.
The lion (Panthera leo) population in the Serengeti ecosystem was recently afflicted by a fatal epidemic involving neurological disease, encephalitis and pneumonia. The cause was identified as canine distemper virus (CDV). Several other species in the Serengeti were also affected. This report presents CDV H and P gene sequences isolated from Serengeti lions (Panthera leo), spotted hyenas (Crocu...
متن کاملMolecular and Immunological Investigation of Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) and Its Co- Infection with Canine Parainfluenza Virus Type 2
Background and Objective: Canine distemper (CD) is a highly transmissible serious disease of carnivores. Distemper virus has immunosuppression effects, which, in turn, could lead to opportunistic infections. The present study was performed to detect CDV by the genomic and immunological methods and investigate its co- infection with canine parainfluenza virus type 2 (CPiV-2). Materials and Meth...

Canine distemper virus (CDV) creates a very contagious viral multi-systemic canine distemper (CD) disease that affects most species of Carnivora order. The virus is genetically heterogeneous, particularly in section of the hemagglutinin (H) gene. Sequence analysis of the H gene can be useful to investigate distinction of various lineages related to geographical distribution and CDV molecular ep...
متن کاملCloning and expression of hepatitis E virus ORF2 as a vaccine candidate
Introduction: Hepatitis E virus (HEV) is a fecal-oral transmitting virus which causes a chronic liver disease. ORF2 is an immunogen capsid protein of HEV that has been proposed to be used for Hepatitis E vaccine design. It is a 660-amino acid protein which includes an immunogenic region (residues 112-607). This protein has been expressed in complete and truncated forms, using different expressi...
متن کاملMolecular and Serological Detection of Canine Distemper Virus (CDV) in Rural Dogs, Iran
Background and Aims: Canine distemper (CD) is a deadly infectious disease of Canidae family. CD is a multi-systemic viral disease and is specified by wide range of clinical symptoms. The manifestations are not always indicative of CD, therefore a laboratory confirmation is necessary for suspected cases. Materials and Methods: Different clinical specimens of 19 CD suspected unvaccinated dogs wer...
